The man page says nothing about Fat16/Fat32 issues. You will need dosfstools-2.0 (potato) for making and checking Fat32 filesystems. If you don't want to switch to libc-2.1, get the source and compile it yourself. It's really easy. Nils -- Plug-and-Play is really nice, unfortunately it only works 50% of the time.
