If you want photo quality, then you should get a dye sublimation
printer. The colored wax roll makes a one-time pass for each primary
color, followed by a sealing wax coat. If your camera is 5 megapixels or
higher, it would be difficult to distinguish the result from that of a
commercial processor
Personally I have a Olympus P-400. Outstanding results... retails at
$500, but I took advantage of a half-price offer from the manufacturer
Go to their web site for further details. Other companies offer printers
with such technology, but typically more costly
I don't recall, but I believe it supports a number of older Windows
platforms
