That's a loaded question. Most opinions you get will be just that
opinions. Much like any other "preference", such as which editor or
environment to use. I've got two IBM drives that I've been very happy
with. I've also got Seagate and Maxtor drives that I'm very happy with,
along with Fujitsu, Quantum and Western Digital. Have I had drive
failures? Yea with drives from all manufacturers but IBM. Does that
mean that IBM's drives are better, not in my book. Does it mean they
are worse, again not in my book.
