You should file a bug against the gnucash package, using the 'bug' or
'reportbug' commands.  Complaining to debian-user won't necessarily
get the problem solved; many developers don't read debian-user, for
example.  If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you could get
the source for the package, figure out how to fix the bug, and include 
a patch with your bug report.
