Granted.  I'm not staying sufficiently up to speed on audio formats, I'm
aware of issues with MP3 and promiting Ogg Vorbis as an alternative.

I'd mentioned MP3 as I was aware that a streaming mode exists.

Ditto.  RealAudio sucks in this regard.

Caching is a key feature of the Internet.  The fact that RealAudio
specifically and pointedly breaks this is beyond dumbth.
