OK.

That line is already there, and the only call to
resurrect_conffile_sid. Duplicating it does not help. Maybe you wanted me to add

 resurrect_conffile_sid /etc/texmf/tex/generic/config/pdftexconfig.tex texlive-base "$1" "$2"
