As far as I remembered it would be necessary basically 
for xaw-wrapper in old packages because of a problem
with a nextaw(g) bug.  Now it has been used with xdvik-ja
(but of course it could do with xdvi itself not with xdvi.bin).

This should be checked more precisely because
