Package: txfonts
Version: 3.1+2-8
Severity: normal

I installed txfonts -- e.g.

$ dpkg -l txfonts
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
|/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name           Version        Description
+++-==============-==============-============================================
ii txfonts 3.1+2-8 Times-likes font for TeX.

Yet, when I run pdflatex on a file which uses txfonts, I get a series
of errors like --

Warning: pdflatex (file n021023l.pfb): cannot open Type 1 font file for reading
Warning: pdflatex (file n021004l.pfb): cannot open Type 1 font file for reading
Warning: pdflatex (file n019004l.pfb): cannot open Type 1 font file for reading
Warning: pdflatex (file n021003l.pfb): cannot open Type 1 font file for reading

The file I'm running, and a full transcript of the noises that
pdflatex makes, are attached. My file uses pdfscreen.sty so perhaps
there may be some nasty interaction there. Hence I have cc:ed this to
the author and the maintainer of pdfscreen also.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

        -ans.

Remark to the original submitter: Your exmaple was far away from a
minimal exmaple, as it included files, which were not available even
