Yes, but only if there is somebody who maintains this separate
package. Just creating a separate binary package from the tetex-bin
sources does not help.

If somebody steps up and says "hey, here's a package, and I'm going to
take care of it", I would be happy with that and would try to change
tetex-bin accordingly (but again, not for sarge).
