I must correct my first mail, because this is not true. There are no
yandy subdirectory and no mh?.pfb files in tetex-base or tetex-extra,
neither in 1.x nor in current 2.x (and even not in the upstream beta
source for 3.0). You must have downloaded these pfb files yourself. 

All we do provide is a style file and corresponding TeX font metrics
files (*.tfm) for the people that have their own licensed version these
non-free type1 fonts. This is the case with a couple of font packages in
teTeX, and there are even more where we only provide free drop-in
replacement fonts instead of the commercially available fonts for which
the package and tfm files were developped.

So if you still think this is a bug, Adobe is the party to complain
at. We at Debian can't do anything about that (besides removing
mathpi.sty, but that wouldn't be of any benefit).
