Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.7+20021025-8
Severity: normal

There is no dependency on perl 5.8, but xdvi refuses to work with older
versions of perl:

~> xdvi
Perl v5.8.0 required--this is only v5.6.1, stopped at /usr/bin/xdvi line 26.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/xdvi line 26.

There should be a dependency that avoids breaking this package by upgrading it
while perl is on hold...

This was fixed already in tetex-bin 2.0-1 and now xdvi should
work with older version of Perl.
