Subject: xdvi fails to display figures in mgraph.dvi
X-Mailer: VM 6.92 under 21.4 (patch 1) "Copyleft" XEmacs Lucid
Sender: Mikael Hedin <micce@zodiac.irf.se>
Delivered-To: submit@bugs.debian.org

Package: tetex-doc
Version: 1.0.2+20000804

Running xdvi in the file
/usr/share/doc/texmf/metapost/base/mpgraph.dvi.gz gives no pictures,
and errors like 'cannot find figure mgraph.1' etc. This is because
the files ar gzipped.

This can be overcome by copying all of it to a writable directory and
unzipping, but this is not very convenient. I you feel this is
nevertheless the correct way, feel free to close the bug.
