Package: tetex-eurosym
Version: 1.0-3
Severity: grave

Package is not installable. It depends on tetex-bin which depends on
tetex-base which conflicts with tetex-eurosym.

It appears that tetex-eurosym has been superceeded by tetex-base, but
I'm not certain about that.

archimedes:/home/don# apt-get install tetex-eurosym

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
tetex-eurosym: Depends: tetex-bin but it is not going to be installed
E: Sorry, broken packages

Oups, I just see that the "Provides" is already there ... so I'm closing
this bug.

For tetex-maintainers: Sorry for the inconvenience (the critic
concerning the lack of communication still applies however ;-))

For the submitter: tetex-eurosym is useless now, there's no need to
install it ... it's part of tetex-base. I requested its removal
(cf somewhere in http://bugs.debian.org/ftp.debian.org).

Cheers,
