Package: tetex-base Version: 1.0.2+20021025-3 Severity: normal Tags: sid upstream Hi, Since upgrading to the newest versions of tetex-* (Unfortunately I cannot say which version was the one where that broke but I assume that that problem is since the CVS snapshot) tetex-* calulates the paper dimensions wrong. I recognized that when using muttprint to print out a mail from mutt. (For the following I created a dummy test message) When using under woody (I have a woody chroot) with the up to date deb from muttprint which is in sid, I get the following: http://people.debian.org/~rene/debian/tetex-size-bug/woody.ps When using sid: http://people.debian.org/~rene/debian/tetex-size/bug/sid.ps Looking first, there does not seem to be any difference there. But If you print out (I've a4 as paper and muttprint has called latex and dvips so that this is recognized) the woody version, all is printed. If I print it in sid, the line with Date and Page Numbers is moved down (you cannot see it then beacsue it it outside of the a4 scope. See http://people.debian.org/~rene/debian/tetex-size/bug/sid_printout.ps This breaks muttprint's displaying of Date and Page numbers in the last line on a huge amount of systems because then the line is placed to low so it is not printed. I doubt that this is a problem with cups because the other file on woody is printed fully correct....
