I'm using the lstlisting package for a book on linux programming, but
one of the lust upgrade of latex seems to broke it.

I put a tarball whit the book sources (is released under the GFDL) at
this address:

http://gapil.firenze.linux.it/gapil.tgz

this is my tree on which I got the previous error. I also have a
modication on /etc/texmf/texmf.cnf to enlarge pool_size to 250000 and
hash_extra to 10000. Using a woody I had no problem.

So this is not a bug but a new feature of listings.sty,
I believe, so I will close this bug.

But as I said in a former mail, the license problem
is critical for listings package.

It will be best if someone contacts the author to change
its license. Please see #172483 which will remain open
untill listings becomes DFSG-free.

Thanks, 2002/12/11
