Bug#69609: Debconfize ls-R permissions?
Hello,
I was just about to file a nearly identical bug but found this one, I
too find this pretty annoying, and this bug is getting up there in age...
If you like, I can try to make a patch to debconfize this, with two
yes/no questions on whether to make it group- or world-writable, and if
group is yes, then it requests a string for the group name. I'd make
the defaults group but not world-writable and group name "users", with
priority "low" or "medium".
Makes sense? Would you accept the patch?
Zeen,
