Bug#144069: tetex-bin: some part of tetex doesn't seem to quote properly filenames.

thanks

TeX on Unix doesn't work with input files in paths with spaces.
You'll see the same issues if you try using TeXShop on Mac OS X
(which depends on teTeX). (OzTeX, on the other hand, will work,
but OzTeX uses its own implementation of TeX.)

There's a Usenet thread from June, 1999, that includes a patch to
fix this problem[1]. In that thread, Olaf Weber said he was checking
into whether the patch would cause other problems; if not, he was
planning to include it in the texk source (which is the basis for
the TeX programs in teTeX).

I'll look into whether that's going to happen or not. If Olaf has
already included the patch, the problem will be fixed in the next
release of teTeX (unlikely to appear in woody). If not, you may
be out of luck.

In the meantime, the only thing you can do is not have spaces in
the paths in which you're creating and storing TeX files.
