pdftex in current woody tetex packages outdated and buggy

The version of pdftex in tetex packages 1.0.x+20011202-1 is
pdfTeX (Web2C 7.3.1) 3.14159-0.14f-released-20000525

However, the current stable version of pdftex is
pdfTeX (Web2C 7.3.3.1) 3.14159-0.14h-released-20010417

I do not know if it is much trouble to update that, but it would be
really good.

I need the new package personally as the old pdftex does not produce a
correct '.aux' file with some documents and therefore bibtex does not
work than.
