Bug#95995: tetex-bin: pdflatex depends on tetex-extra
Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.7+20001218-3
Severity: normal
Hi,
I installed tetex-bin and tetex-base (plus the necessary
dependancies), and tried to run pdflatex. It didn't work:
[nconway:/home/nconway/work/misc/cuspidor]% pdflatex luke_response.tex
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-14f-released-20000525 (Web2C 7.3.1)
I can't find the format file `pdflatex.fmt'!
(latex on the same file works fine).
After installing tetex-extra, the problem goes away, and
pdflatex works properly. Therefore, it appears to me that
pdflatex depends on tetex-extra.
Cheers,
Neil
