Bug#61990: even more info

I have two computers
and both failed to run
tex -ini -fmt ...
but one of them doesn't try to run it from 
postinst and all tetex packages considered configured.
another computer try to do so and 
tetex-extra is considered not configured as a result.

I made apt-get remove tetex-bin on both (this leaves tetex-base 
however) and then run apt-get install task-tex.
The first comuter is OK (still fails  to run tex -ini -fmt ...) 
and the second tried to run 'tex -ini -fmt...'
two times for tetex-bin and tetex-extra and it fails
two times. tetex-bin is considered configured however.

I will try to remove tetex-base and see what happend.
