X rotation at boot

Hi,

I do not understand why I can not rotate X at boot using files in 
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d ???


I can rotate my screen using "xrandr -o left" from a gnome-terminal
if I kill X , and start it from the cmdline, my files in 
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d are well processed and my screen is rotated .


Is it a problem related with gdm ?
