Why? I'm very interested in this and he's talking specifically about
woody. I looked into this as well. Going to packages.debian.org and
doing a search for lvm shows it in both stable and unstable, but not in
testing. I have attached the relevant items to the end of this email
from the page:
http://ftp-master.debian.org/testing/update_excuses.html
So testing folks (unless they install themselves) have to wait for this
to be resolved by the maintainer.
