d-i netinst rc3 triggered that bug on my SB 100.the 2.6.8 netboot.img doesn't have that problem and I can acces the cd-rom without any trouble.
So it looks like the only way to get a running SB 100/sarge constallation is using SPARC62/Kernel 2.6.8-something netboot.img
