I'd also recommend net install. The most easy way is IMHO via RARP+TFTP.
All you need to do is

1) install rarpd on some machine in the network
2) edit /etc/ethers (format si <MAC> <IP> at one line).
3) start rarpd
4) install tftpd (and enable it in /etc/inetd.conf)
5) get proper image and rename (or symlink) it, you find the proper
   name in tftpd log (the name is clients IP adress in in hex, e.g.
   C0A80101).
