Re: Strange things occurred in my SS10...



Almost for sure it's the serial console thing.  Sun hardware tends
to drop to the OF if it loses DTR or DSR or carrier or one of those
darned serial signals if you are running a serial console.  So I'm
guessing that you don't keep the serial connection up all the time?
Typical is this: you shutdown the machine you run the terminal
emulator on.  Sun box supplying key network services drops to OF
prompt.  Everyone screams.
