No, they are not the same. The helix packages are usually more recent.
I did a few compiles of some helixgnome packages on my Debian2.2pre sparc10
about a month ago (which was kind of masochistic). The source packages
compiled ok. The only problem I found was that their orbit package back then
was compiled without libwrap support.
