I did so in some other projects as well.
Calling back on the dwz error Mo Zhou reported in January[*], I get
the same error from the python extension shared libs in mpi4py (3.0.2)
after upgrading to debhelper 12:
$ dwz -q
-mdebian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/debug/.dwz/x86_64-linux-gnu/python-mpi4py.debug
-M/usr/lib/debug/.dwz/x86_64-linux-gnu/python-mpi4py.debug --
debian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mpi4py/MPI.so
debian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mpi4py/dl.so
debian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mpi4py/lib-pmpi/libmpe.so
debian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mpi4py/lib-pmpi/libvt-hyb.so
debian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mpi4py/lib-pmpi/libvt-mpi.so
debian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mpi4py/lib-pmpi/libvt.so
dwz:
debian/python-mpi4py/usr/lib/debug/.dwz/x86_64-linux-gnu/python-mpi4py.debug:
.debug_line reference above end of section
Can anyone now interpret this error? Can anything more constructive
be done with it besides simply overriding dh_dwz as noop?
Drew
