Dear Team members, You are all aware that we benefit from the very nice PET tool http://pet.debian.net/pkg-ruby-extras/pet.cgi to have a global overview of the team repository. It sorts packages into categories according to the info it collects from some files. One of the most important category is the one entitled "Ready For Upload". A package goes to this category as soon as the suite in the last entry of the changelog is set to unstable (at least not UNRELEASED), and is not tagged debian/latest-version. It is one of the indicators, together with the RFS emails to the lists for the Debian Developpers of the team to know which packages are ready for review and upload. The situation at the moment is that there are 20 packages in this section, but most of them have not been announced on the mailing list as ready for sponsorship. Going through a the list today with Paul, we found that some are not completely ready yet. Therefore, may I kindly ask you to ensure that if your packages are not ready to your opinion, the suite in the changelog is set to UNRELEASED? Once they are ready, change the suite to unstable and send an email to the list. This would ensure that the DD have a clear view of the state of the packages, which is very valuable, given that time is precious and limited before the freeze. Thank you very much! Cédric
