Hi, Another update: I did a rebuild of the boost-dependent packages in an unmodified sid chroot (using the newly-uploaded boost 1.49-4 that fixes the UTC issue (#707389). There are presently 60 such failures. After transition there are 86 failures, so the boost transition causes about 26 new failures. I will make it a priority this weekend to analyze these 26, but I know at least one is the UTC issue and several are due to Qt's moq parser which are simple fixes (see also #704045). As noted above, there are only 26 new ones. Based on the experience with gcc 4.7, I would expect far more than 26 failures caused by building boost 1.49 with the new gcc 4.8. > How many failures did you find in the archive rebuild you did? Did you not do a rebuild? -S
