Hi,

Please remove the ham radio server "node" from testing. The
release-critical bug #614907 has had no action for several months
despite a starting patch and various compromises offered, and I am not
confident that the bug will be fixed in time for wheezy.

The package hasn't been uploaded for the past two years.

It would be dishonest to commit to maintaining this package for the
course of another stable release if it remains in this state. I hope
that this removal would be temporary and it would not remain in this
state, though.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Heh. Okay. (I'm still concerned about the lack of maintenance but
can't see anything easy to do about it.)

I found what Russ wrote on -devel convincing:

| In an ideal world, *neither* application would be using "node", since it's
| a very generic name, but the reality is that people go off and do things

So regardless of what happens to the "node" name, I would like to have
nodejs and ax25-node commands present in Debian and upstream to allow
users to benefit as though in that ideal world if they want to. But
that is neither here nor there.

Thanks for a quick response.
Jonathan
