Currently baloo (the KDE semantic search indexer) still has to be installed 
manually.

Yet since KDE SC 4.13, baloo is used for semantic desktop searches, which 
means that also e.g. KMail address completion etc. depends on it.  Therefore, 
kde-standard, kdepim or kmail should explicitly depend on baloo (package: 
baloo4).

Hi Daniel,

thank you for taking the time to report this bug and help make Debian better.

The bug you raised was against KDE / Plasma 4 which is now deprecated and not 
supported anymore.
The KDE PIM suite in current Debian versions is based on KDE Frameworks 
5 where baloo is not used anymore because it now only handles file indexing. So 
I’m closing this bug.
