Hi phaoost,

sorry we couldn’t get back to you in a more timely manner.

I cannot reproduce this bug on a current version of Debian, so I’m closing it 
for now.
Hitting Ctrl-F in various applications (KMail, Okular, Dolphin) correctly 
opens a search bar, and searching does work.

Feel free to reopen with more recent details if you’re still experiencing this 
issue.
