Bug#858596: plasma-desktop: screen lock crashes entire session
Do you think the size of .xsession-error could have triggered this?
I deleted the file on my machine, to have something smaller to send,
and restarted the session to make sure that the file was closed.
After doing this, I can't seem to reproduce the issue, while before it
would happen by keeping my screen locked for less than 1h.
I'll keep trying and see if I manage to make it happen again.
