I can second this bug is still / again(?) present in 5.5.1+dfsg-8 and
also affecting XMLHttpRequest (XMLHttpRequest.status always 0).
QNetworkReply::NetworkError always is set to 99 while stderr contains
"QIODevice::read (QDisabledNetworkReply): device not open".
