If I switch Creator to Qt 5 many archs will miss it (and I will create an RC 
bug!), so no chance to get the switch until we are on-par on all relevant 
archs. Note that this last bit may change if the RT decides to downgrade the 
status of some of them.

Maintenance burden. Private headers can break API/ABI without a soname bump, 
and I won't be mangling it every time they change (actually I won't mangle 
them at all). 

Also if people start build depending on private headers we might end in a 
transition for every new version of Qt. So the less private headers we ship, 
the better.

So sadly yes, the only chance you have now for building qt creator with qt 5 
is building Qt yourself. Or help fixing webkit's FTBFSs so we can do the 
switch soon.
