Still /usr/lib does not sound > like a CONFIG_DIR to me, but it's more arguable than in case of data ;-) If you lok at the spec, XDG_CONFIG_DIRS it's either empty or should point to /etc/xdg, where you should put your qtchooser configs. Once you use that variable, you are taking the responsability for it.
