Bug#588541: polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1 aborts shortly after startup

Package: polkit-kde-1
Version: 0.95.1-2

The polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1 executable crashes shortly after the KDE desktop has started up. So far, this has always occurred together with a KNetworkManager segfault.

This behavior occurs frequently, but not consistently.

Specific config info:

It may or may not be relevant, but the workstation on which this problem occurs includes support for MIT Kerberos V, OpenLDAP and OpenAFS, with home directories residing on the network. IPv6 support with the wide-dhcpv6-client package is also installed. To this end, I've added the following to /etc/network/interfaces:

    auto eth0
    iface eth0 inet dhcp
            post-up /etc/init.d/wide-dhcpv6-client start
            pre-down /etc/init.d/wide-dhcpv6-client stop

Note that this configuration was added primarily to enable network login.
