Bug#252571: kdebase-kio-plugins: unable to unmount usb stick; open file still held by old k* processes

It's not normal behaviour.

This is weird, because I believe that since kde 3.4 or 3.5 konqueror never 
holds a file or dir open for a longer period of time then it actually needs 
it to perform a task (e.g. list files in the dir, copy file etc., the file 
handle is closed immediately once the operation is complete).

Could you copy&paste the exact error message you get when you try to 
umount/eject your usb stick?
