This problem occours only if I have
DynamicTabHide=true
in my
~/.kde/share/config/konsolerc
without the entry or with ...=false everything is o.k.

If I start a new shell in the kde konsole (with CTRL-ALT-N) the first
shell is resized from original 156 x 54 to 15 x 54 as long as I don't go
back to it. Any output that had been there gets cut of after the
fiftenth character.

If I'm using a TUI like menuconfig from make-kpkg the application is
terminated because:

If I can help with any further information please let me know!
