Bug#416608: To Be Clear
To be clear:
The reason klaptopdaemon doesn't know what's going on with the batteries
is because /proc/acpi/battery isn't populated until after a time delay
of around 20 minutes.
When proc is populated klaptopdaemon notices immediately and works just
fine.
Therefore I feel this is a kernel issue, somewhere in the acpi
framework. However, I don't yet know enough about the inner workings of
acpi in Debian to directly implicate the kernel, someone with more
experience will need to make this judgement.
