weird.
I just created a big text (approx. 10mb) file with the following commands
repeated some times:

pusling@scrooge:~$ perl -e 'print "a" x (1024*1024), "\n";' >> bigtextfile
pusling@scrooge:~$ perl -e 'print "b" x (1024*1024), "\n";' >> bigtextfile
pusling@scrooge:~$ perl -e 'print "c" x (1024*1024), "\n";' >> bigtextfile
pusling@scrooge:~$ perl -e 'print "d\n" x (1024*1024), "\n";' >> bigtextfile

and I don't have more than a second delay when trying to edit stuff.

Do you know how might I get access on the GPU from the tools within AutoCAD?

You cannot save the FPU to telnet from the parallel connection over the RO
hard disk over a IDE GUI.
