Problems with dependencies (KOPETE) and others
I used the debs from:
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ stable main non-free contrib
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://download.kde.org/stable/latest/Debian stable main
And added the following per Andreas suggestion to get hte libxcursor1
deb http://people.debian.org/~nobse/xfree86 woody main
Did an apt-get upgrade, (And no comments about apt-get please), and now I have
MOST of the system back up, after having had to remove replace a ton of
packages of course, and having a problem with this 'xlibs OR' as many of the
packages still try to install xlibs to satisfy the dependency, even though
the packages SHOULD be satisfied in the OR ..
ie KOPETE.. Seems to take the correct DEB from download.kde.org "latest" and
shows the dependency can be either xlibs or libxext6, and I have libxext6
installed..
dpkg -l libxext6
