Bug#277645: drsync does not sync.
Package: drsync
Version: 0.4.3-3 (testing)
Severity: serious
Hello,
it seems to me, that drsync does not sync date in some cases.
Situation:
Server Omega has lot's of home dirs on it.
Server A104 should get I copy. (It is a home-cache for another network)
I do:
drsync --verbose --rsh=ssh --recursive --state-file=/var/home.a104.dat /home/
192.168.6.211:/home/
It tells me:
Executing: rsync --update --existing --recursive --rsh=ssh /home/
192.168.6.211:/home/
Ok, it's done and completed. BUT
Files are only generated, NOT copied with rsync!
For instance:
I have
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5 2004-10-11 10:49 test.txt
on omega. But I got
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 1970-01-01 12:00 test.txt
on A104
What's wrong here?
Keep smiling
yanosz
