That contradicts at least Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_computer Unless by "personal computer" you meant any computer which is designed for a single person, in which case indeed, one could say personal computers are not necessarily called "personal computers". I'm afraid "PC" is an extremely unclear term: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC
I recommend using it as little as possible, if we need it at all.
