I would encourage you to write something like the DebConf report, but shorter:

Then write something in the style of recent posts to the debian-news
list to announce it:

Then people on this list or debian-l10n-english can help correct your
grammar and spelling.

Then you can add it on the miniconf site and announce it on debian-news.
