Install lenny on apple powermac 8600

Hi, someone can give me some advices about how install lenny on a powermac 8600?
I use bootx and the kernel and ramdisk that are on the cd I've used to install lenny on my emac G4.
The problem is that when the installation procedure try to install the "base system" it doesn't go on, it's freezed on 3%.
