Sure, does, just modprobe airport, or add it to /etc/modules.

It is not a pci device, so discover/hotplug don't seem to be able to get them.

Airport extreme is not supported though, and never will be.

NO!!!!!

the 2.4 benh tree is dead, it was not updated since one year ago, and has even
dissapeared from penguinppc.org. The debian 2.4.27 kernel is based on it, but
it is ****NOT**** recomended for anything except oldworld debian-installer
using miboot floppies, or for apus (and soon) nubus machines.
