This behaviour does not occur when using the non-apt gettable
binaries at http://www.thecodefactory.org/mozilla/ i.e one only gets the usual
offer to download a flash plug-in (yeah, right) but no crashes.
However, opening many tabs at once seems to slow down the application
considerably.
