SMP G4 and 22" Apple Cinema Display
How I got XFree 4.0.2 working on this machine:
* got the apple cinema display patch from
<http://penguinppc.org/~olaf/linux-2.4.1/y_ppc_2.4.0ac6_apple_cinema.dif>
* applied the patch to the bitkeeper 2.4 kernel from
bitkeeper.fsmlabs.com
* compiled the new kernel
* rebooted, with the kernel option "video=aty128fb:vmode:22"
* installed the debian X4.0.2 packages from testing
* used the following /etc/X11/XF86Config-4:
