Actually, gphoto2 has a gnome-vfs plugin so any and all suppored cameras can be
browsed and have files drag-and-dropped from them (though not sure about to all
of them) right in Nautilus. Newer still is a KIOslave so you can do the same
thing in Konqueror.
So the most comprehensive camera software tool in the industry (that is, most
backends for a single frontend) is also the most versatile. Ain't free software
great? :-)
